He chairs the UK (BSI) Protective Clothing Committee and leads in Europe (CEN) and Internationally (ISO) on all protective clothing, including Heat and Flame Protective Clothing He is a member of USA NFPA Correlating Committee for Fire & other Emergency Services Protective Clothing and Equipment. - Worked with a Local Authority to discharge 17 HSE Improvement Notices, a momumental effort recognised by the Cheif Executive and Directors. Then introduced a Health and Safety structure to the 113 outsourced schools.
- Formerley providing top-down Health and Safety to Bloodhound SSC, world land speed record attempt at 1000MPH.
- Provided safety advice to the successful electric car world record attempt and successful steam car world record attempt.
- Chairs all the CEN committees for Heat and Flame protective clothing (TC 162/WG2 Heat and Flame Protectice Clothing, Joint Working Group for Firefighters' PPE, ISO SC13 WG2 Test Methods for Heat and Flame Resistant Clothing.
- Leads in IS0 SC14 Firefighters PPE, Chairing Working Group 1 General Requirments, WG2 Structural Firefighters PPE.
- Expert to WG3 Wildland Firefighters PPE.
- Chair of ISO Joint Working Group for Firefighters RPD
- Secretary to ISO Joint Working Group Firefighters CBRN PPE
- Worked closely with the UK Government Officials and UK Chief and Assistant Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA) on PPE.
